Who's guiding you

Hi, I'm Laura. I'm Spanish, and Australia has been home for the last seven years now. Before all this, I had a corporate career, the kind that looked good on paper but stopped meaning anything to me the moment I held my baby for the first time.

I see the mother

Something in me cracked open. Not in a bad way, more like a window I didn't know was painted shut. I started looking at women differently. At mothers, at what we carry, at how much quiet strength it takes just to get through a day sometimes. And I started looking at myself differently too.
I had friends around me during my pregnancy and postpartum. But I didn't have a village, the kind that just shows up, that notices when you're drowning before you have to ask for a rope. That's a different kind of alone, and I don't want any woman to feel it the way I did.

Why hypnobirth

I first heard about HypnoBirthing almost by chance. I told my sister I was terrified of giving birth, and she mentioned it to me. I started reading, and something shifted, the fear I'd been carrying started to loosen its grip. But here's the part I don't usually say out loud: I didn't actually prepare properly. I thought a few books here and there would be enough. I was wrong. And I've spent a lot of time since then wishing I'd known then what I know now.
My baby was already 9 months old when I finally sat down and did it properly: a triple training in HypnoBirthing, Positive Postpartum, and Women's Circle Facilitation, which I completed in December 2025. Not because I needed the certificate, but because I needed to give other women what I didn't have.

With you all the journey

And honestly? Birth education is just the door I walked through. What's on the other side of it is this whole world I've fallen completely in love with: women's health, women's power, the way we heal, the way we hold each other. I'm constantly reading, training, learning something new, because this isn't a box I want to tick once and call finished. It's the thing I want to keep getting better at for the rest of my life, so I can keep bringing more back to this community, more tools, more knowledge, more of myself. This is still just the beginning for me. If any of this speaks to you, come walk this path with me.
